SETUP WIZARD SETUP Steps 1-4

If setup wizard does not come up when you open Outlook Express, skip to Step 6c below.

Step 1. Insert your real name as you would like to appear to people you send email to.

Step 2. Insert your email address

Step 3. Put incoming and outgoing mail server information in.

Step 4. Your account name is your full email address.

Wizard should now be completed.

Step 5. OPEN ACCOUNTS WINDOW

Open outlook express and click on Tools then Accounts.

Step 6a. Click on the all tab and click the remove button to remove all accounts except your email account.

Step 6b. Click on the mail tab. Highlight your account and click properties.

Step 6c. If no account is there click on add and choose mail account. Then go back to step 1.

Step 7. GENERAL TAB

Step 8. SERVERS TAB

Step 9. SERVERS TAB SETTINGS BUTTON

Select radio button “Log on Using”.

Put in account name and password

Step 10. CONNECTION TAB

Check the box and select your dial up account

Step 11. SECURITY TAB

Do not change anything on Security Tab

Step 12. Change Outgoing mail(SMTP) from 25 to 587

Set Server Timeouts to long.

Choose leave copy of messages on server if you want to get your mail from a second computer.
