PLease make the changes below to your Outlook Express. 1. Print this Document. 2. Open Outlook Express. 3. Click on Tools and choose accounts. 4. Click on the mail tab and highlight your Computers Plus e-mail. 4a. If account does not exist click the Add button and then Mail. (Skip to New Setup Below) 5. Click the properties Button. 6. Click on the Servers Tab. 7. Change Incoming mail (POP3): pop.computers-plus.net 8. Change Outgoing mail (SMTP): smtp.computers-plus.net 8a. If you are Using Dail Up. Outgoing mail (SMTP): smtp.att.yahoo.com or mailhost.day.ameritech.net 9. Change Account name to your full email address. (username@computers-plus.net) 10. Check the box beside "My server requires authentication" 10a. Do not check the box beside log on using secure password authentication. 10. Click Apply - OK - Close 11. Exit Outlook Express. 12. Open Outlook Express and try your email. *********************************************************** NEW SETUP 1. Display name: Enter your real name then click next. 2. Email Address: Enter your full email address and click next. 3. Incoming mail (POP3): pop.computers-plus.net 4. Outgoing mail (SMTP): smtp.computers-plus.net 4a. If you are Using Dail Up. Outgoing mail (SMTP): mailhost.day.ameritech.net 5. Click Next 6. Account Name: Enter your full email address. 7. Password: Enter your password and click next. 8. Click Finish. 9. Click on Tools and choose accounts. 10. Click on the mail tab and highlight your Computers Plus e-mail. 11. Click the properties Button. 12. Click on the Servers Tab. 13. Check the box beside "My server requires authentication" 14. Click OK 15. Click Close 16. Exit Outlook Express. 17. Open Outlook Express and try your email.
